Thuong Thuong Vocational Center, located at Nam Phu Village, Nam Phong Commune, Phu Xuyen District, Hanoi, Vietnam, offers vocational training and creates jobs for special circumstances, such as people with disabilities. They come from other parts of Vietnam but all regard Thuong Thuong Vocational Center as their second roof to work and live. Building up Thuong Thuong Vocational Centre is extremely difficult for me, more than that, operating centre to create jobs for the disabled is 3 times more difficult. We always think and worry about how we can sell products so we will increase revenue to pay for expenses and salaries.
With handmade handicraft, the members have more confidence when we can earn our livings by ourselves. We produce souvenir crafts, mainly quilling paper ones with various designs, namely, pen boxes quilling, tissue boxes quilling, earrings quilling , jewelry boxes quilling, book marks quilling, greeting cards quilling, Vietnamese landscape pictures quilling, company logos and so on. Not only are these beautiful quilling handicrafts made for use, they also carry with them an important message: If we could find in ourselves the perservance, joy of living and the willpower to overcome difficulties, we could all strive for a better life. As such was the case for the members of thuong thuong company.
Each of Thuong Thuong’s member have his own circumstance and the founder. we always try as hard as possible to complete the job, to create the good and nice products then we can pay our livings on our own.
We always put a lot of efforts to create opportunities for blending with community. Since then, every product you buy has helped disabled people have more confidence in work and life.
